BUSA, in collaboration with the ILO is in the process of developing a guide to provide practical guidance to companies that have implemented working from home protocols during the COVID-19 crisis. The Guide is designed as a practical tool to assist companies as they navigate this new phenomenon.
The guide provides recommendations for companies, highlighting duties and responsibilities of employers and employees, considerations and challenges and how to address and manage those challenges. It also provides a sample template for companies to enable them to develop a base working from home policy.
Please note that this document is a work in progress and once finalized a final version will be circulated. Also note that that the quotation boxes present throughout the guide are examples of the types of text that will be included in the boxes and not final quotations.
