CEFA MEMBERSHIP
Membership Benefits-Services from SEIFSA
As an employer in the Metal and Engineering industry in the Western Cape, you are invited to become a member of the Cape Engineers and Founders’ Association (CEFA). The CEFA is registered with the Department of Labour as an employers’ organisation dedicated to serve the interest of employers in the Western Cape.
CEFA is federated to SEIFSA (Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of South Africa) which at a national level acts as an agent for 23 registered employers’ organisations in the Metal and Engineering industry.
Your activities in the Metal and Engineering industry are defined into one of the schedules’ which determine that your company be registered with the Metal and Engineering Industries Bargaining Council (MEIBC). By joining CEFA your company will become a “party” employer and have a voice on all industry matters.

The Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of South Africa (SEIFSA) represents employers across the metal and engineering industry at a national level.
CEFA members gain access to SEIFSA’s full range of resources, expertise, and industry support, providing guidance, insights, and influence beyond the Western Cape.
