At the SEIFSA Awards ceremony held on 26th November 2020, in Boksburg at Summer Place, The SEIFSA CEO’S AWARD FOR ASSOCIATION OF THE YEAR was proudly awarded to CEFA out of the 23 federated Associations and was enthusiastically received by Mr Bernard Ashlin, CEFA’s Chairperson
The prestigious CEO’s Award for the Association of the Year is presented annually to an Association that has shown the best level of compliance, growth, participation and benefits offered to its membership and for promoting the interests of members in a specific region and/ sector.
SEIFSA’s CEO and Operations Director announced that the winning Association who are celebrating their 100 years of existence this year as the Cape Engineers and Founders’ Association (CEFA).
SEIFSA congratulated the Cape Engineers and Founders’ Association for remaining relevant since its formation, for continuing to represent the interest of its members on a wide range of industry – and sector-specific issues in the metals and engineering sector and for its on-going and loyal support of SEIFSA.
Mr Ashlin stated in his acceptance speech that this award is a honourable and laudable achievement for CEFA and that its couldn’t have been achieved without our members and Executive Committee who he heartedly thanked for their continued support – and he concluded by indicating that CEFA will continue to enable and support its members for another 100 years to ensure continued growth and prosperity into the future
