CEFA: MEIBC CIRCULAR REQUESTING EMPLOYERS TO ISSUE EMPLOYEES WITH LETTER FOR CREDITORS WHEN SO REQUESTED

CEFA are aware that most businesses are battling during this time please rest assured that we continue to work to assist where we are able.

Following from the MEIBC Circular issued regarding employers assisting their employees with letters for their creditors – we are also mindful of the fact that your staff will also be battling with their own financial affairs. Many will have insurance policies which may be accessed at a time of loss of income. With this in mind we ask that you consider using the attached template  letter for your staff confirming that they are not working {where applicable]. This will assist them in accessing some of their insurances.
