The Minister of Employment and Labour has stated in a media statement that TERS UIF claims for May will be accepted as of 22 May 2020. However the online portal indicates that it is still not open for the submission of May 2020 applications.
Please note that the Minister indicated in the media statement that employers who had applied for payment of benefits for the April 2020 period, do not have to apply again for May, as the May payments will be processed automatically.
