Local manufacturers Study Tour of Large Renewable Energy (and other Projects) – July 2023

HV Promotions is planning a technical/commercial study tour for companies from the South African Manufacturing Industry to visit the Renewable Energy plants – Concentrated Solar plants
(Tower, Parabolic trough & CPV technologies), Wind Farms and Photovoltaic (PV) solar plants.

Should there be interest, the Tour could also include the SA Large Telescope (SALT) at Sutherland and the Square Kilometer Array – Radio Telescope Project (SKA)
near Carnarvon – SA.

The aim is to introduce Industry to the renewable power sector in order to facilitate buyer/supplier business opportunities (also regarding possible maintenance procurement opportunities) in particular,
with regard to REIPPP Bid Rounds 5 & 6.

Furthermore, it is intended to expose industry to the generic possibilities for supply into related and other sectors in South Africa and in particular, Africa.

We attempt to reach the commercial/procurement decision makers from the Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC’s) companies and the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) who are/were involved
with the existing and future developments to investigate localisation opportunities.

The duration of this Tour is 4 days (10-13 July 2023) and should you be interested; more detail will be provided.
